A GOOD HAIR DAY SALON & SPA is Laurie’s vision. After 37 successful years in the hair care business, she continues to stay up-to-date in industry practices, attending classes and seminars on a regular basis. Laurie is constantly inspired by the changes in her dynamic industry, loves people and loves helping them create the look they most desire. She admits that she also enjoys working with clients of all ages — “that’s my passion,” she says candidly. Many hundreds of happy customers acknowledge Laurie’s commitment to her craft and to her vision.

Velvet specializes in “complete customer satisfaction” and has been doing so for over 22 years. She graduated from Highland Hills Beauty Academy in 1996 and joined A GOOD HAIR DAY SALON & SPA in March 2009. Velvet is very enthusiastic when it comes to style, the latest trends, and has a keen interest in her clientele. Not only is she a great conversationalist, but has a unique artistic flair when it comes to haircuts, perms, waxing, manicures, with expert coloring [esp. blonde], and highlighting. Velvet has formed a profound respect and admiration for her clients desires and has them satisfied before they leave her chair. Her many satisfied customers speak for themselves.

Missy is also a graduate of Hair Dynamics in Fort Collins, Colorado and joined A GOOD HAIR DAY SALON & SPA 14 years ago. Missy specializes in both men’s and women’s hair styles and especially likes making a haircut a positive experience for “little ones.” She truly enjoys the unpredictability of working with children. Missy also has a passion for color — “There’s just so much I can do with hair coloring and highlights,” she explains. “My goal as a hairstylist is to have a wonderful conversation with my clients while making their hair look fabulous!”

Darlene has been with A GOOD HAIR DAY SALON & SPA since November 2014 after graduating from Regency Beauty Institute. After her time in the Army and being able to stay home with her son, Darlene was able to pursue her dream of becoming a cosmetologist. She is passionate about everything she does and enjoys making each client feel comfortable and at ease during each service. Darlene loves people and enjoys growing her relationships with her clientele and meeting new clients. She specializes in both hair and nails for men, women and children.

I've always had a love and passion for the beauty industry. Ever since I was a little girl I knew that this was the career path I wanted to pursue. It's such an amazing feeling to help a person feel beautiful and confident. Not everyone gets to have a job they love going to everyday and I believe am very blessed to love what I do. I graduated from Hair Dynamics in 2015 with my full cosmetology license. I enjoy all aspects of this industry, especially hair cutting and coloring. As well as manicures, pedicures and acrylic sets. I have been working at A GOOD HAIR DAY SALON & SPA for almost two years, and have been a client here myself for over 11 years. My goal when I have a client sitting in my chair is to have you leaving with a smile on your face.

Hello, my name is Jessica. I’ve been with A GOOD HAIR DAY SALON & SPA since November 2016. After graduating cosmetology school in 2015. I worked for Great Clips for a year before coming to this salon. Which was great, I loved it but I needed to grow more as a stylist and expand my horizon. I was looking for a small, all service salon. That was my dream since school. One day I had a friend tell me about A Good Hair Day and I called and got probably the best opportunity to work with Laurie and these lovely girls ever. Since I’ve been here a couple months now I’ve already started to build a clientele and a great relationship with some of my clients. I feel like this is what I went to school for. I love what I do and I am glad I got to open and expand my horizon.
